At the moment, 're-creation' is your only option. Nab a copy of your most recent 'BT_config.txt file, and you should be able to create screens from that. If you have a massive amount of childItems, you'll probably be better off separating those into individual text files, and use an external childItem file. Once you're on self hosted, Mr. VanBeveren and I have created a copy screen utility, that will allow you to copy screens from app to app, but it's only within your self hosted environment. https://www.buzztouchmods.com/downloads.php?cat_id=2&download_id=49 I've been working on a "full features" copy app utility, but it's not really finished; I keep getting pushed on to other projects… Cheers! -- Smug

If you have an App that is 'Live' in your BT Hosted control panel, make sure that you re-create your app, and submit an update to the right market (either Google, Apple, wherever…) and let it go live before you remove the old one; there is some code that is particular to the 'source' of the app… You don't want to kill your app before the transition is complete. hi, Smug thanks for your tool. But it seems not work out for me. It seems that only copy app only in the situations of the same server... what I need to do is to transfer the app created from buzz server to my self-hosted server, when I did configuration, I can't see any app info in my self-hosted server, so I can't operate the copy operation to the objective app in the self-hosted server.... Is there anything that I did wrong? Thanks for your answers. Best Regards, Andy

I understand that. I suggested you take a copy of your BT_config.txt file and manually migrate. The utility is only for self hosted, and only copies existing screens in the self hosted. It will not do any good for you now, only in the future. Cheers! -- Smug

“ take a copy of your BT_config.txt file and manually migrate. ” - how can I do that? copy the BT_cofig.txt from the downloaded source file? and paste to which directory of the self-hosted server? Regards, Andy

Well, no. It's all manual. The BT_config.txt file has a list of all your screens and options. Take a copy of your config file, and manually add a screen. Check it off the list. Add another screen… It's all manual. You will have to re-create the app the same way you created it in the BT Hosted server. There is no automated procedure for this. Cheers! -- Smug

*_* so tedious... why buzztoucn don't add this function to the BT-server, it must be like the plugins downloading process as well... I am so eager for your updated version, please let me know if it's ready.... Thanks so much! Best Regards, Skywalker

If you can hang tight for a couple of days, there will be a utility released (not by me) that will do this for you automatically. I do not know how much it will cost, but from what I have heard, it's rather slick. I heard it through the grapevine. ;) Cheers! -- Smug
