Menu with image core 3.0

I have a had quite a long battle to get my Android App working The menu with image plug-in works really well in iOS - noce curling transitions for example. Problem is this stops the Android App from working. Go back to the default transitions and my app works on an android device. To me it seem the menu with image plug-in in not very cpmpatible with Android. I have also found my header images are not resizing in the Android environment and appear small. I am using core 3.0 so wonder is these bugs that will be fixed? Ideally I would the nice transitions in iOS and my Android app to work too. I would also like the header images to perform on Android as they do on iOS I am very close to publishing my app but wou ld like to know if there is anything that can be done to solve these issues

Congrats Chris, I know you've had a real battle with getting Eclipse this far.

I can only say that I have never used the plugin with 3.0 yet, have you tried 2.0 android code? perhaps it may work out but I cant say for sure

No joy yet on images on Menu with Image Hit another snag - can't get the api's for maps & android notifications working The guides are so different to what's out there For example I can't work how to get to my sdk from adt My head is so sore from banging against this brick wall! Prompts for push on android device and it says there is a problem communication with the google messaging service. My app keeps acting oddly too - having to click menu items twice for them to work and then other times it's ok Is the core 3.0 that flawed? Or is it plug-ins lagging behind

There is kind of a big change I think we all need to make with Android. In the Menu with Images, the header images work fine in 3.0, but they are the same size on a tablet and don't resize well for 7" and 10" tablets. Buzztouch doesn't support this yet, but the solution is to add separately layout files for 7" and 10" tablets. http://developer.android.com/guide/practices/screens_support.html I think Buzztouch will be adding support for this in the future, but in the meantime if you want your images to stretch across the screen on tablets you have to add more layouts. You could try the Menu Image Advanced. @chris1 has that one set to stretch across the screen. If your goal is to fill in white space, it could work better. But it also distorts the image.

Thanks for the info If it looks ok on phones I will probably stick with it, I'm not too worried about tablets at the moment. It still looks ok for my app as it is to be honest, so will wait for support later
