Best approach for changing home screen menu plugins

Hi guys, I've been using BTA Design Menu for a year on my app but now I need to change it Menu with Image. It's a long story but this move should make it better since we have both Android and iOS. I already added the plugin into my package and submitted. Apple has already approved the new update with MWI plugin. At first, I thought I can simply switch the menu screens but am now worried that those who haven't upgraded yet won't have a menu screen at all and the whole app will be terribly broken. What is the best approach here or am I thinking all wrong?

Standard approach is to wait a couple weeks after your update goes live so a large % will have updated. Especially now that iOS offers automatic updates.

Thank you Chris. That's what I'll do then.

You cannot easily change from one plugin to another plugin. You will have to re-create everything that you had in the Design Menu over to the Menu With Image by using the web control panel. We know it's a pain that must be endured. -- Niraj

Thanks Niraj, Yes, I already have re-created the menu in the new plugin. Our menu is very simple (thankfully!) I just haven't linked it to any tabs or other areas so it's there in the background just waiting for me to 'flip the switch'.
