The latest update to this plugin looks like it does not change the app name? in the file sw_smugmsgloc.m. It has build errors showing oog_appdelegate. FIX I replaced all instances of oog_appdelegate with myappname_appdelegate and the errors go away.

Hey Smug. Just wanted to say how cool this plugin is and what it does. fantastic. I am using it, only unable to change any settings in Buzztouch. This is what I am getting when trying to change nickname. I get the same result for all items I try to change. Email Subject, Screen Background color, etc... Screen Nickname Nicknames help you keep things organized. When choosing nicknames it's best to use a naming strategy so can search for things later. Example: If all your menu type screens used a nickname that began with the word Menu, such as "Menu Home" or "Menu Contact" or "Menu Settings" you could easily find all your menu screens by searcing for "Menu". Enter a Nickname |___________________| | SAVE | A problem occurred while saving the entries (1). The results were not valid JSON. Ok. So I just tested it this way with same results. created an app -"testapp", added in the location plugin, nicknamed "testsmug". tried to change the nickname and got the same resulting error. I am doing this on a different computer other than my workstation. Tried to change the other parameters that are changeable, same error. right after I hit save, I get the error. Understood; but these aren't intrinsic 'plugin' functions, this is the relation between the Control Panel and the Database. I know I've seen this issue before, I just have to remember which post I saw it in. Worry not; one way or the other, We'll work on this to resolution. Another possibility, is if you added a screen, deleted it, and then tried to readd a screen with the same name. Screens aren't actually 'deleted', but marked as 'inactive' and kept in the database. Therefore if you try to create a new screen that was once deleted, it will give an error, because the screen wasn't 'really' deleted, only 'removed from view'. Cheers! -- Smug

Self Hosted might be the Key. I am not self hosted. Could be something on Buzz touch Site.??? None of the other plugins are having this issue, and it is not an issue with the plugin's functionality in the app. As far as the test, it was clean. created an app, it automatically loads in the simple menu, didn't touch it. Added the plugin. that is it. Then if I went in to change any of the values for anything, not just the nickname, it came back with the error. The plugin works GREAT in my completed App. I just couldn't change the text, or the nickname or the...... So right now it is in my app functioning perfectly as you built it.
