What's beyond stupid? It looks to me like your Android environment is not setup properly. This could mean a zillion things. Maybe start at this URL http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html After getting Android setup, see if you can create a 'blank' or 'hello world' app. If you can do this, see if you can compile and run it in the simulator. If you can't, you won't be able to download the buzztouch project. If you can, the downloaded source for your project should compile fine. There are literally thousands and thousands of folks compiling buzztouch apps, yours will work if you get your machine configured.

Here's the exact link you need to follow step-by-step... don't frustrate yourself if you make a mistake. This link is FOOL-PROOF and BEYOND INTELLIGENT ;) http://developer.android.com/sdk/eclipse-adt.html

I realized that Android does not play nice with the NEW ECLIPSE... the Android SDK on Googles Dev site says to use 3.5 Galileo... I bet thats the issue: http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/download.php?file=/eclipse/downloads/drops/R-3.5-200906111540/eclipse-SDK-3.5-win32.zip

Downloading... I also downloaded the windows sdk from here http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html does it matter which one i install first? i was doing the eclipse first then this to download the SDK Start Eclipse, then select Help > Install New Software. In the Available Software dialog, click Add.... In the Add Site dialog that appears, enter a name for the remote site (for example, Android Plugin) in the Name field. In the Location field, enter this URL: https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/eclipse/ if that is write i will do that then we can remote if that is not right let me know and i can get it set up first and download before you remote in.

(you know this LOL) and I think if he is on Vista or 7 or something... maybe he has to run Eclipse as root... err.. sorry Admin.

So I wish I would have written eveything down when I installed: On WIndows 7 64 -- I had one hell of a time getting eveything setup.. A few days at it: This was before Buzztouch.. I installed all Code to C:Eclipse windows 7 64 has some real issues with path names having to have 2 // My laptop was first setup to run blackberry code. I belive I got eclipse from the Blackberry setup. Give me some info: OS Version: 64 vs 32. --- Okay I wanted to upgrade to the latest SDK etc. SO I tried from Eclipse and what do you know I then started getting a parse error: Here is what I did to get around it... Installed the SDK my new location C:\Eclipse\android-sdk-windows3\ I downloaded the SDK, Ran the EXE version and ran the SDK Manger.exe file from the C:\Eclipse\android-sdk-windows3 directory. Once I did this I had to then go back in and download the google.api's. Once all done you will then need to go into Eclipse and change your Android Preferences: to do so go to Window / Preference/ On the left you will see android. Change the SDK location to your folder my location would be C:\Eclipse\android-sdk-windows3 Hit okay then go out and come back in...
