Xcode for Windows or alternative

Does buzztouch has the possibility to export code for IOS that can be used on a Windows PC. As I understand xcode can only run on a MAC.

If you have the right hardware in your setup it is possible to run a hackintosh. Google search should throw up loads on this so you can check machine specs against what is required.

Xcode is the only tool for managing ios apps and xcode only runs on osx. You might be able to find a virtual machine going, but it isn't for the faint-hearted. My suggestion to see how viable that is, try googling vmware and osx. Hackintosh is also another option, again, not easy to get right.

@GoNorthWest do you know if a vm or hackintosh will run on any windows machine? Does it have to be super powerful? I sure would like to try but seems pointless if my machines not up to it. And yes this is the last i will post about it here as per your how to :)

Hey Mr Stuck, The real limitation seems to be memory on your Windows host...the more the better. Mac OS X in a VM should probably run in most Windows computers that support virtualization in the first place. Hackintosh is a different story, and I don't have an answer for that. I think there are some somewhat specific hardware requirements for supported configurations. I know there is a website out there dedicated to the effort. Mark

Thank you for all the replies. I wanted to use buzztouch to create apps for Android and IOS. That seems to be no problem at all (still have to learn a lot), but Apple doesn't want me to develop anything for their devices. If I wanted to make money of it, paying 100 dollars or euros a year to have the privilige to store my app in their store + buying a mac wouldn't probably be a problem. I only want to develop something for the fun, an app with information of my village. So I will do that for Android, what am I happy I purchased an Android tablet and not an Ipad.
