Free - or really cheap - web hosting?

I want to keep most of the data in my app HTML based because of constant changes. Anyone recommend a really cheap or free data host that can handle light hits but is reliable? I only expect to sell about 500 copies of my app...max. TIA

Try: http://www.1freehosting.com/ Or http://www.000webhost.com/ I use both and have had no issues. One of them gives you a little more storage space than the other.

Yes I highly recommend Host Gator. Visit this link http://secure.hostgator.com/~affiliat/cgi-bin/affiliates/clickthru.cgi?id=xactmedia I have a reseller account and a VPS with them. Been using them for 7 years now. Great customer support. The above link is my affiliate link so it helps me out. They have some plans for only a few bucks a month that are pretty good and include a cpanel, etc. Also I am running BT server on my VPS with them and it works great.

+1 to hostgator.. use them as well, and so far works well with BT Server. Also works extremely well with every other major CMS out there, and never had an issue with them for the 4-5 sites I have setup with them.

If all you need is a place to store HTML files, that will be retrieved and processed by your app, then DropBox is probably the best way to go! It's free! If you use this link to sign up, then I get an extra 250MB! http://db.tt/TCxVvk8 Mark

I use to use dropbox but I switched to SugarSync. It offers a few more options. Referral link gives us both an extra 500Mb on the free plan. http://bit.ly/yHPTvC

SugarSync looks pretty interesting! Signed up...can always use another 5Gb of space! Either SugarSync or DropBox are certainly good options in this case. Mark

I especially like the option to auto upload pictures from your cell phone. Thank you!
