How I fixed my Something Went Wrong. There was a problem parsing the JSON result?

Hi, I posted this in pedro_brasil's post earlier but thought I would start a topic so others might see it. I got the dreaded message earlier. Looking at one of david@buzztouch's responses to an earlier post he mentioned that he had to set up a special curl script for the guy because he didn't have allow_furl_open enabled in his PHP. Well, I'm on a shared hosting account and the company will not enable it. So, I created a php.ini file with just one line in it:- allow_url_fopen = On I put this file in bt_v15/bt_app and now my source code downloads fine. I hope this helps someone. Mark

No problem, I just hope that someone finds this useful. Maybe the file could be included in the next release? I still had to save my icon as a jpg but it would still only work after creating the php.ini file.

Hi MArk G. I tried your solution. there was no error but the packaging of source code takes forever. I have waited for almost an hour but it's still packaging... How long does it take for your app to be packaged for download?

Hi rhundle denz. It should only take a minute or so. Have you tried checking your server errors logs to see if there is any other problems? You are saving your icon as a jpeg and not a png aren't you? Mark

Hi Mark G, i tried to upgrade to BT2.1.7 and it worked. Well, i think this issue has a lot of workarounds. Issue settled. Thanks a lot Mark G and the buzz touch community.
