HTML not updating

Here's one that's got me stumped. I've got a bunch of HTML 5 pages (from the HTML 5 plugin) and yesterday I was modifying the content of these quite successfully (i.e. I could immediately see the page being updated on my iPhone), and today... nothing updates. I make the change, press Save, but the changes are not updating now. I do get a message saying "This app's content has changed, would you like to refresh?", to which I click Yes. Also, I can see the correctly updated page directly in my browser, but the App is not refreshing these itself. Here is an example of the JSON: {"itemId":"AFF163DFCA921E1A8507653", "itemType":"BT_screen_customHTML", "itemNickname":"Suggestions", "navBarTitleText":"Suggestions", "dataURL":"https://www.buzztouch.com/applications081713/JA54CF862315584697098FB82/documents/customHTML_AFF163DFCA921E1A8507653.html", "showBrowserBarBack":"1", "showBrowserBarRefresh":"0", "showBrowserBarLaunchInNativeApp":"0", "showBrowserBarEmailDocument":"0", "forceRefresh":"1", "dataDetectorType":"1", "preventAllScrolling":"0", "hideVerticalScrollBar":"0", "hideHorizontalScrollBar":"0", "preventScrollBounce":"0", "preventUserInteraction":"0"} Any suggestions on what might be happening? Cheers, Tim

Hi Tim, Which plugin are you using? Is it the 'Custom URL' or the 'HTML Doc' plugin? I'm guessing it was the Custom URL as you can open a browser with the address? Could the app be caching the page? Try to "clean' the project and rebuild. If it's iOS you can reset the simulator to clear everything out. Let us know how you go ... Cheers Darrel

Darrel, I will give that a try. It was the "HTML 5 Custom HTML / Text" plugin. Thanks, Tim

You can also make sure that the Force Refresh setting for that plugin is set to Yes. Also...don't forget to hit Publish if you're making changes to your control panel. Mark

Okay - fixed. Was a combination of ensuring it was set to Force Refresh = Yes, and when that partially worked (i.e. some pages refreshed and others didn't), then the ultimate solution was to delete the app from my iPhone and reinstall it. Thanks for everyone's help.

I get this problem with the custom html plugin, only on ios. No idea why it happens, but eventually the page in the app updates, but it can take hours.
