Buzztouch Code Camp Las Vegas

Hi all - Don't miss your opportunity to learn from David Book at Code Camp in Las Vegas April 21 through 25, 2014. The post at the top of the Forum has all the details, and we are still accepting applications for this one-of-a-kind opportunity to learn from the founder and guiding force behind Buzztouch, David Book. You won't want to miss it! Warren

If you have ever seen David teach on a web session or in person, you already know how good of a teacher he is. He is the one who opened the door to Object-Oriented Programmimg for me. Over the years, I had tried to change myself from being a straight-line programmer into the modern world of objects. With Ada, C++, Java ... None we're doing it for me. Thankfully, the early days of PHP was less objects and more straight code! Warren is right in all respects but one. This opportunity will not be one-of-a-kind. It will be such a success that the demand for a repeat will be hard to ignore :-) -- Niraj

I thought I was the only one with ADA experience, lol! Sadly, I won't be able to attend code camp. On a brighter note, for the wife and myself I've already secured Air Travel, Hotel, and Vehicle for our Weekend in Vegas, from the morning of the 25th to the evening of the 28th. Looking forward to seeing everyone there! Cheers! -- Smug

Then we shall simply have to extend our stay to match up with Smug's schedule. We can't let a gem slip away back to Guam so quickly! -- Niraj

Smug, I am so excited to meet you in person! This will really make BuzzCon special. Where else are you going while you are in the US? After so many one hour sessions we have had with David, this really will be a chance for an interactive learning process. Rather than just watching, the program will intensify learning by allowing the attendees to code themselves. Moreover, if you get stuck, the teacher is right in the room! So no frustrating process of trying to figure it out on your own.

After Las Vegas my wife and I will be spending a week with my Parents near Savannah Georgia, my childhood home. It's been a few years, so we're both kind of looking forward to all of it. Cheers! -- Smug
