Document Loader anyone know what to do won't load

I am dumping html and pdf files into the BT_Docs folder in Xcode but when I refresh the app in the Sim it just says the data for the screen has not been downloaded yet. No internet connection detected. Anyone have this issue and know what to do please send you thoughts or comments. Thanks Magic Man (Tony)

Ho Tony, You have to make sure that the screen you created to display those documents has the correct reference to them. It only needs to be a filename (no spaces or strange characters). Once you have the screens configured, and you have the files loaded into Xcode, then you need to rebuild your app. Make sure you do a Product...Clean first, to sweep out any old links and references. Here's a doc that might help a bit : http://www.buzztouch.com/resources/Adding_Files_To_A_Project_v1.0.pdf Let us know if you continue to have problems! Mark

Mark I have added the files in the Xcode, but I am not understanding this part. I looked for this however I guess I just don't understand. Can you help. Where is this folder located? 2. Open your Buzztouch project in Finder, and navigate to the BT_Docs folder. Notice that what you see here, and what you see in Xcode, they match. Add the files you want to be included to your BT_Docs folder in Finder.

Also I tried transfer screen from 1.4 to 1.5 like you said, but when I copy and past the data into the (text) screen I lose all links and pics. Are the text screens not the same in 1.5? Or is it me. ?

Hi Tony, The BT_Docs folder is one of the folders that comes in the package you download from buzztouch.com. That's where you want all your document files to go. You then all add them to Xcode...essentially adding a pointer to these files...using the method I described. All files that you want to be shipped with your app should be in BT_Docs or BT_Images. For your second question, are you doing a Custom HTML screen? If so, hit the Source button in the editor, copy what you see there, hit the source button in v1.5, and paste. That way you're copying the actual code. Mark

Hey Tony, Congratulations! Feels great to finally get an app in the store, doesn't it! The kudos go to you for sticking in there and seeing it through...it's a tough process, but it'll be easier from this point forward! If I'm every in St Louis, I'll look you up! Feel free to do the same if in Tucson! Here's a step-by-step guide to getting you going in Eclipse....complete with screen shots! http://www.buzztouch.com/resources/Setting_Up_Your_Android_Development_Environment_v1.3.pdf Mark
