Mobile App Testers Cost 15 Billion Dollars, for lil ole me!(Sorry, I was trying to delete repeat forum request!)

I just finished apking my app in debug mode. However, since it is for Android 4.0 and up, I can't even test it myself. I have an Android Ancient 2.3.6.(So does my sister and my friend- We seem to be old fashioned). Can anyone be so kind as to test my app to see if it works on your phone before I go off into internet land like a pro only to fail miserably? It's Just in Android Now, i have no idea how to use the iphone Xcode yet, so bear with me.

you can change it to 2.3 in the android properties. really just when you go to download it on buzztouch dont click the buzztouch core 3.0, click the link above it it will already be in version 2.2

yea alright I'm about to check it.actually you probably will get errors if you change the properties on the 4.0 because its designed for 3.0 and up. its best just to download the other version

Yeah i went back and did that. I am trying to get the debug key. I already have the release key. But I need to also get another key for debug? I got confused, because for the 3.0 I followed the directions for the keystore .android. Now I am pretty much turned all around, so many instructions. LOL

Welcome to BT. You do not need another debug keystore. The debug keystore is created for you by the eclipse itself. You can test as many apps with as many versions and OS'es with debug keystore as you want. The debug keystore is good for all apps. My experience so far has been that many users still use Gingerbread OS. About more than 25% of my users are on 2.3.x android. So if you want to cover up those users as well, then the most practical thing would be to use BT old core 2.0. Or else you are good to go with the new core 3.0.
