Don't you hate it when ...

You have an error. You research and research, spend hours trying to solve the problem and then BAM - problem fixed. You throw your hands up in the air, puff your chest out for a nano second in satisfaction and move on to the next issue. THEN - for one reason or another you come up against the same problem that you had only a mere 2 days earlier and you can't for the life of you remember what the solution was and you never made a note of it in your files. Sigh ... Or am I the only one that does that?

I can totally relate to that! I have been burned so many times that I now make a point of taking notes (right after the puffing out my chest bit). We all think: "Man, I've spent so much time finding the solution that there is no way I will forget it!" Yet, we do...

The only way to progress is to make notes of what you did. It is painful and makes you slow the first time around, but then you are ahead for the rest of your life.

I was integrating socialize (love it). I had forgotten to add the addsupport.framework. I had just gone through the same thing with Scringo 2 days earlier - slap forehead. I do take notes now, but I'm in such a rush at the moment I forgot to add it.

ah - yes, that's the tricky part about adding third party frameworks to several of your apps. You can get so familiar with adding the code for certain methods that you forget to add the framework itself! Glad you finally figured it out - that can be a headache for sure. :)
