Can I simulate on Ubuntu?

Hi buzztouchers! I don't know if this is the place for asking, but i have one question... I have got a Mac at my office but i've just installed ubuntu in my home PC.  Can i instal xcode on it? Have i got any posibility to simulate my new App on Ubuntu? Moreover, as my app will be only for our cooperative partners... Can i install my app directly from my mac to the iphones? Without using appstore. It is interesting for us to be private.  I don't know if it has been posible to explain my cuestions... Sorry for my english Thanks for your helping lasamari

Hi lasamari, Unfortunately Xcode only runs on Mac OS X. It won't run on Linux or Windows. But, you can put Eclipse on all those OSs for doing Android development! Only way to simulate an iOS app is to use Xcode on a Mac. Mark

If you are sharing the app within your Company, then you can load the app onto the iPhones in several ways: 1. Physically transfer the app into an iPhone via Xcode 2. Physically transfer the app and Provisioning Profile into an iPhone with iTunes or the iPhone Configuration Utility 3. Wirelessly load the app onto an iPhone via your Comapny's web server 4. Wirelessly load the app onto an iPhone via the free TestFlight service For more information on #3, see this forum post: http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?fid=F421AFEF68AFA1907623E54&tid=F421AFEF68AFA1907623E54 For information on #4, see this link to TestFlight: https://testflightapp.com/ -- Niraj
