Creating Sub menus under Submenu's

It might just be my system, but I doubt it. I can't create a Sub Menu off a Sub Menu it does not show as a option, unless I choose any other option then choose add, when it goes to that option, I cancel then try again then the sub menu option is available?

Sounds like a bug in the Control Panel on our end - yikes. However, I did see an app a few hours ago that had like 5 levels deep? FOUND IT. Bug, but this workaround will get you through till we get it straightened out: 1) Add a sub-menu from the main menu 2) Click 'Add or remove screens from this sub-menu' When you look in the drop-down for the types of screens to add, Sub-Menu is gone! Hack: Select any other screen type, like Call Us for example. 3) When this screen loads, like to enter the phone number to call - click CANCEL instead. You will go-back one screen and the Sub-Menu choice will magically appear. Funny. So, hack your way through this and I'll get another engineer to follow-up and fix it, I'm buried in other support issues. I'll be gone over the weekend so you may need to beg the community for help if you need it before Sunday night. Cheers

Suggestion: Enter the word 'submit' in the forum search box...there are a few folks offering to help. Glad to hear you got it on the App Store ;-)

David's work around only worked once for me. Anybody figure out how to make the work around work repeatedly? Do I need to log out and log back in?

Hi in Chicago... Havn't seen this for a long time but the workaround isn't related to you being logged in or not. It's related to the web interface not including the sub-menu in the drop down choices. There are tons of exampls of 2, 3, 10 levels deep navigation in v1.4 apps so I'm certain it works (assuming you konw the hack mentioned in this post). We never re-engineered anything because almost no new apps are v1.4 apps these days ;-)

Thanks David, As luck would have it, I got the sub-menu option long enough to make the levels I needed. I need to do this in v1.4 because I want an Android version. Waiting for v1.5 to go Android (hint, hint) ;-)

Hey David, over a year ago in 2010 you talked about the work around for the missing submenu...it's still not fixed?!? I'm getting it right now.

@corydzbinski: This is not going to get fixed. Surely it was our intention to figure it out but lots of things change and v1.4 control panel issues are no longer our priority. This means you'll need to use the work around I posted earlier in this thread. Or, you could switch to buzztouch v1.5 and use all sorts of new options. To use v1.5, click the Early Adopter link in your control panel so the v1.5 option is available on the 'create a new app screen.'

Early adopter option sounds great, I'll give that a try. More flexibility will be welcome! Overall, amazing cloud product!

Can you use 1.5 with an existing project?
