i observed app download data from buzz touch and make its cache.. is there any way that i can code such that app image etc doesnt require an internet connection... and also can i change the menu icons like (i) on the top right ??

What buzztouch version is your app based on? If it's v1.4, you'll have a difficult time doing this. If it's v1.5, there are lots and lots of new features designed specifically for this purpose. v.15 is availalbe today only to our Early Adopter list. Get on the list if you have not already. If you have already, and are already using v1.5, but don't understand it's options, re-post and we'll go from there.

There's a GIANT message on the home page - you must have missed it. Send an email to info 'at' buzztouch.com with Early Adopter as the subject line or send a direct message to buzztouchApp on Twitter that includes the words: Early Adopter. Your account will get updated, after that happens you'll see the link to create a v1.5 app in your control panel. Good luck ;-)

San Jose - awesome. My teenager will be in SJ for a giant volleyball tourney this weekend. You should see a link in your control panel to create a new app using the Early Adopter relase for iOS. Spend some time experiementing so you can get a feel for how it all works. It's a bit overwhelming for some because of the flexibility but once you understand how the menus and screens are setup, you'll have no trouble.

The San Jose Convention Center holds a HUGE volleyball tournament a few times a year. I think tomorrow's is small but I'm not sure. Our Daugher is a major volleyballer and loves going to the 'city' to play. v1.5 Tip: Use the control panel to configure your application. When you make changes, use the Refresh button in the simulator. You'll be doing this over-and-over while you work out your design. Run the simulator side-by-side with your browser open so you can easily see your changes. When you're all done configuring, if you want to disconnect from our servers... do this: a) Look at the Core properties for the app b) Click the link to show you the configuration data (plain text) c) Copy this data into the BT_config.txt file in the Xcode project d) In this file, after copying the data, REMOVE the dataURL property. Removing the dataURL property will force iOS to use the settings in BT_config.txt instead of fetching it from the dataURL. I hope this makes sense. Also, if you don't want your control panel to show any usage statistics, remove the reportToCloudURL also. You could also... a) Copy the data, just like above. b) Place this data configuration file on your server somewhere c) Change the dataURL in the BT_config.txt file to point to your server instead of ours. You could do the same with reportToCloudURL if you setup a script on your server to collect usage data. This approach would allow you to make changes to the configuration data stored on your server and the app will be remote-control. Good stuff.

For a full offline experience I suppose you would need to manually copy your images & sound data in the respective BT_ folder in xcode right, or are these downloaded with the .zip project?

David, Can you help me figure out how to disable the content update message sent to the app every time the app is updated. It is really starting to upset my users. Is it a setting? Is it part of the code? Thanks tony
