Does 2.1.9 break GCM for BTv2.0 apps?

Hi All, I have been successfully using the BT self hosted push messages for Android for some time with the 2.1.8 software. I have recently upgraded to the new self hosted 2.1.9 and it was my understanding that push didn't work with the new BT core v3 ... ** but does it also break any new BT v2 apps????? ** I seem unable to register for push notifications on new BTv2 apps on self hosted 2.1.9. Does this also mean that with existing apps new users are unable to register? My logcat errors are here ... I've change the project id, API keys, APP ID & secret for security reasons. http://pastebin.com/VWue2U2s Any ideas on this, or if anyone knows the 'state of play' would stop me bashing my head against the wall :))) Cheers Darrel

Hmm wait a second, where did you hear that 3.0 breaks push? As far as I know following dev on that, it does not break, nor should it for 2.0. Did you recently change anything at all? David https://buzztouchmods.com/market

@Chris1 said there was an issue with it in the new 3.0 BT core at least (I can't confirm the 2.0 issue) The only change has been my upgrade to 2.1.9 ... Cheers Darrel

Chris knows whats going on behind the scenes so his word should be taken over mine, I had no idea. The upgrade to 2.1.9 from changelog should NOT have broken anything. It wasn't a removal of features from 2.1.8 it was an addition. Not sure what could have messed that up. Maybe scour the forums to see if your the only one with the issue? Hi MrDavid, Thanks for replying, I've posted and scoured the forums for as well :) I'm ok if it's my self hosted issue, or if it's an issue with BT 30 + 2.1.9 as long as know. As it stands, I've spent countless hours chasing an issue that may be my self-hosted, may be BT, who knows? But I think it's BT .... ;) What I would love to see is an issue queue for BT, where known issues are confirmed, verified and reported. That way we could see issue X is a problem in Y, current status (not known, being worked on, abandoned, etc) and we could either jump in and help or wait until the super coders get to it. Just my 2 cents Cheers Darrel

Darrel that would be cool. I always assumed David had a excel sheet somewhere with a list just like that, how else can someone be so organized with so much stuff? Maybe a good feature request thread.. David https://buzztouchmods.com/market
