Streaming Audio Issue V. 1.5 (Look at the the BT_screen_audio java file)

In 1.5 I am simply trying to load a mp3 and specify the url. When I do so my app says Look at the the BT_screen_audio java file. Has anyone else run into this issue? The url link is confirmed and correct. It won't even work with the sample url.

Thanks for the response, and yes Android. I was thinking that might be the issue. I know they plan on launching a new website soon and thought perhaps they were done with 1.5 and moving onto another version. I am so antsy. I have my custom layout and buttons all done. I just need the funcationality now :-)

If you didn't mind a track listing, you should be able to use Custom HTML, and have links to mp3s. By default, it should force your app to open their mp3 player of choice or open the browser. This does open possibility of download, so realize that when choosing what to link to (could make 30s clips). Haven't tried it, but I do know its explicitly in the doNotLoadList in your BT_act_controller file, so it should prompt the user to use an app. Let me know if it works.

Zackamo, A direct link does work and prompts you to open your native browser. One of the issues with this is that it does expose the full URL of the mp3 file. Not a huge issue but the display on the native app doesn't have any good meta values. I appreciate the suggestion. Right now I am trying to find a custom html5 player that will fit android well. I have tried a few but they have issues. I can't wait for BT to be in non-beta. I love this software.

Something I did for my app that is centered around music is used youtube videos instead of just a music link. Just another thought.

@zackmo, Checked out your Chilifest App,looks great!! Question, In the performers section, is that a custom html screen you are using? I've tried to create a screen to look like that forever and couldnt figure it out. looks great. Would you be willing to share the code?
