I created individual screens using the native app plugin, and chose google maps (im using for both android and ios). I then entered the address I wanted in the plugin. I did this for each location I wanted to map. Then in the Location Map Plugin, for each location, under "Callout window tap action", I chose "Load the screen with nickname below", and choose the nickname of the native app plugin i created for the location. Now when a user views the map, they can click on the location, and it will attempt to open google maps. So far in iOS, it leaves the app, and opens safari (with a link to google maps). But at least a user can now get directions. Haven't yet tested this with Android. It's a roundabout way, but it meets the end goal. I know there's a few people out there that are waiting for fixes to the location map plugin. Hopefully this helps in the meantime... Cheers! I have been studying coding so I am going to take my first stab at it. If indeed I can understand the codes I will let you know what I have come up with! There is a particular tutorial I am eyeballing. Google maps , mysql and php. seems pretty simple, especially for the amount of json data I have... wish me luck!
