I have stayed away from it for the initial release. Unless forced to update because of Xcode compatibility, I will stay on Mavericks for my older Macbook. I do a lot of non-app related coding (so can't comment much on XCode et al) but I hate how the path of a file is now specified with "Get Info" in Finder. Gone is the handy directory path\file notation... it's been replaced with directory path -> file. Comments I upgraded to Yosemite. Upgraded the first day of public release (with a full time machine backup of Mavericks of course)... Xcode and everything else works perfectly. My whole setup is geared towards app development and graphic design... Not a single hiccup. Have submitted several apps to the App Store with my Yosimite setup, no issues at all.
