I would imagine that they either have a database or they use html/text plugins for the menus. The menus must change. If you want to create your own database, create your own html documents and use the HTML doc plugin for the menu(s)

I like that one. The one I'm working on has the menu and the customer can place the order through the app but I am having trouble getting the info to pass from HTML screen to the next.

Hey that Dominics app looks familiar! And the dining place is just one city southwards. I helped Theresa get over the Xcode compilation problems in my house in the late spring last year. Her forum nickname was sexywebgirll or something like that. The opening screen indeed is an HTML file. Good to see she got it published. -- Niraj

Make sure the owner pays you a monthly or annual fee to update the app to stay abreast of the changes to the mobile OS. For example, that Dominic's app has not been updated for iOS 7. Could be a variety of reasons. Don't let money get in the way of keeping your Client's app current with the latest mobile OS. -- Niraj

LA If you think the restaurant app will get few downloads only i will go free and added ad network to cover the development cost, of-course you know that works only if don't mind to get pied in long term

Hi LA how are you buddy? it might be possible to build it in wordpress and call it from a custom url as it can be done in responsive template, I have never tried calling any wordpress sites to an app yet but it should work. the wppizza plugin is free and can send orders, there is also the possibility to link it to paypal.

I am good LA, just dodging away as usual, not been doing much app wise lately but I have been dabbling in wordpress and cant beleive how easy it is :-) I had never built a website before but its simple with wordpress and with responsive designs available it should help with app building

Can you really build an android BT app around a responsive WordPress theme? I am very good in WordPress, just wondering how possible is that, any simple guide?

I think calling various features from a respnsive wordpress site via a custom url eg a product order might work but i have never tried it yet, also there are plugins that can output a static html version of a wordpress site, so i see no reason wordpress site cant be used to enhance a bt app but i have still to try it. probably be good for android but apple dont like html/webapp type apps in their stores.

Also there are tons of apps in Google play that are simply website in an app apps

I have not yet seen a well-done responsive web site that navigates like an iOS app. Especially when Tabs are employed. The back arrow is usually a failure area littered with land mines. That is why I prefer to use the Single Page "sites". Stick that into a single tab on your mobile app. -- Niraj

I think if you use the URL plugin then you are good to go. I wouldn't have my app depend on that one URL or multiple urls. I would create an app around the URL pointing to Wordpress. I have my disability blog in Wordpress and using URL plug. Works great. LA
