I have had some trouble loading JPG files. I am working from a MAC OS X Version 10.6.7. First, I was not able to load a picture into the forum page. In that case, I tried to upload a jpg file that was 100x100 pixels, and I received the error: There was a problem resizing the uploaded image. And now, as I was creating a new app, I was not able to upload an jpg image into a single image page. In this case, after it showed it was working to load the file, the error message was: Please select an image to upload. I was able to load an icon and an app image. Any ideas on what I could be doing wrong? Thank you!

This is weird. There are thousands of images uploaded without any trouble. Must be something simple? Are you sure the images END with .jpg? This is differen than .jpeg. I can't imagine your 100x100 image being 'too big' - funny. Gotta be something silly we are missing.

rename the file from image.jpeg to image.jpg, this should solve the problem.

Thank you for responding! I am afraid I still can't get it to work. When I go into Photoshop, the choice I select is JPEG. However, the file extension is .jpg. When it didn't work from Photoshop, I then opened the file in iPhoto and exported it as a .jpg, and that didn't work either. I then tried another photo to see if there was something wrong with the file I was using, and the other jpg file didn't work either. It must be something really simple, but I don't know what it is.

As you can see, I was able to upload my picture! Since I was having trouble on my iMAC, I tried to load it from my PC, and it worked. The problem seems to be limited to uploading pictures on the MAC.

I made the mistake of deleting a photo from the forum to replace it and now there is no option on the upload button available (greyed out) any hints?
