VarsityQuad (New Education app for Students on Windows 8.1)

ok..before anyone harps on the obvious...let me get that out the way. 1. This was not built using BT (nor did I do the development), But I am a BT user and wanted to share it with the community because... 2. It's a project I'm working on and passionate about and... 3. It's about education and technology. ok... now let's talk about VarsityQuad. ----- The Marketing Pitch! The VarsityQuad app is the secret weapon for today's students to get an A+ in their classes, by managing the large number of materials that they use and create over the course of the semester. 1. By adding your class notes and prep material to our test and notes bank, you can review them from anywhere instantly without wasting time trying to find them when you need to prepare for your exams. (apparently students lose class materials at an alarming rate!) 2. Plus you can collaborate and discuss notes added by other students, teachers, and experts from around the globe on topics you need to master to ace that class. (Especially handy when you missed a class...or just weren't paying attention at that critical moment) So whether you are in high school, college, or simply taking a course online…go to the windows store, download the VQ app, and let us help you get that A+. ----- My Comments: I briefly showed this off during the last BT Educators meeting, and am pleased to say that in the 3 weeks since the soft launch it is: #4 Best rated in Education #10 New and Rising in Education In the Top 200 of Top free in Education There is still a lot to come for this platform as we prepare for the big roll out for the fall term. In the meantime we're ramping up our content and getting the word out. ----- My ask of you: 1) If you have a Windows 8.1 device (tablet/pc), please download, check it out, and leave a review. We're working to try and get featured in the store on the front page and other places, and they want the app to have already amassed a lot of reviews before doing that. 2) Let me know if you have any thoughts, suggestions, or come across any bugs. Or if you have any highschool/college kids home for the summer that could give this a review... I'd love to talk to them. (let them know they'll be helping to shape the future of education) 3) Let me know if you have/know someone who has some educational content (like a series etc) that you could see in a platform like this. (preferably open source or with permission). Anyone can upload items on their own, but if you have a series of items, I can work with you to get those up. 4) Help us spread the word :) ----- How to find it: On the Windows Store: http://aka.ms/VarsityQuadW8 Out website: http://www.varsityquad.com Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/VarsityQuad Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/VarsityQuad Thanks everyone. €mmanuel Simon CEO, VarsityQuad

Thanks for showing it in Las Vegas to me. I was very impressed with the design and the coding. Great work on finding that niche within a small market. You have a good rollout plan with a starting set of partnerships. You will surely rocket to the top with that A+ product! Congratulations on the launch! -- Niraj
