iOS 7 Tech Talks

Hi folks, Did you all get your invitation to sign up for an iOS Tech Talk coming soon to a city near you?! Is this a new initiative from Apple? I’ve never seen it before. Looks like a great agenda. Is it free of charge? I’ve put my name down for London, 17th of December… very curious to see what happens next!

I got that! I've signed up for London (I'll have to miss a bit of school) and hope to get that. In the meantime, I look forward to seeing you in Oxford. @feraco... There is no approval. It is the fact that these events will be massively oversubscribed, so there will be a sort of raffle system where people get selected. Remember, all 5000 tickets for WWDC sold out in just 72 seconds!

I think it's more fair. If 5000 tickets get sold in 72 seconds, that doesn't give much chance to anyone other than the press. About 1500 people are WWDC were from the press. But if you didn't have fast WiFi, or if you lived in a different time zone and when tickets opened it was 3am, then this raffle system is much more fair.

If Sheryl Sandberg could have anything to do with it, all female applicants would get priority ;-)

Delighted to be headed off to the Apple Tech Talk in London… if it wasn’t for Buzztouch, I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to become a developer and attend events like these! Very excited!!! Thank you Buzztouch!!! :-))
