Looks like we're gonna have to skip by BT5 and go straight to BT6

Got this email from Apple today- OS 11 has brought innovative features and the redesigned App Store to hundreds of millions of customers around the world. Your apps can deliver more intelligent, unified, and immersive experiences with Core ML, ARKit, new camera APIs, new SiriKit domains, Apple Music integration, drag and drop for iPad, and more. Starting April 2018, all new iOS apps submitted to the App Store must be built with the iOS 11 SDK, included in Xcode 9 or later. All new apps for iPhone, including universal apps, must support the Super Retina display of iPhone X. Are we going to be able to submit iOS 11 apps by April? Without 200 deprications? Dave

I have already submitted two updates for iOS 11 (few hiccups regarding back bar arrow and the launch images, which I've mentioned multiple times already in this forum, and still not fixed by BT) and got them both approved within 24 hrs

Thanks. How many deprivations showed up for iOS 11? There is a fix for the back arrow size- https://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=E9DFA2E283C8A31521F2168&currentPage=2 What launch image problems are you having? Dave

The back arrow size fix works, and it doesn't. It works well enough for it to get approved. However I noticed later (after user complained) that the arrow wasn't there on iPad. Must need to add a @2x image? Also, have had a few complaints, and noticed myself, that sometimes it takes a few clicks of the back arrow for it to work. I have no idea why BT doesn't use the default iOS back arrow, but they should go back. And launch image issue is that there isn't one for iPhone X. Again, not huge problem, but something you need to fix until BT updates it. I have no idea how many deprecations, been a few months already.

Ah, I don't test on iPad so I haven't seen the arrow problem there. I use the asset catalog for launch images. X is in my Media.xcassets folder in Xcode. Unless I'm not understanding what your are referring to "there isn't one for iPhone X"

They must have fixed it. I haven't seen my app on a real device but it looks ok in the iPhone X simulator
