Custom HTML Document - Nested Folders - Linking to CSS JS files

Thanks so much to Buzztouch for even making this question possible! I'm a web designer who's made a couple of apps using BT and it's awesome! However, I'm having trouble getting xCode to respect nested folders. Here's the issue: 1) I design several HTML documents as I would for the web, with links in the Head to call CSS files and JS files, and a separate file for images. These are put in sub-folders in the site architecture. 2) I drag in the entire folder into the BT_Docs folder of xCode. 3) After pointing BT to the correct HTML doc, it successfully finds the document, but doesn't respect the links to the images, CSS and JS. If I move the images and css/js files in the BT_Docs folder (top level) and change the links in the HTML document, all works fine. This is a pain though, and I wish I understood what works and doesn't work with HTML docs. Any specific rules would be helpful!

Awesome question, it's been awhile since I've seen it. Yeah, we should probably do something about explaining this and about a zillion other issues....we'll get there. Short Answer: Yes, you can do this. Long Answer: It's a matter of how you add the html and resources to your Xcode project. See this: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2517918/iphone-dev-load-a-file-from-resource-folder

Greetings - Not sure if this thread is still being followed ... but I am having a similar issue. As a newbie, the stackoverflow doc is a bit over my head (and oh so much more). I am trying to use a JPlayer for audio. Like Andy, the player works fine locally with my nested folders set up as JPlayer suggests. And like Andy, things don't work in the iPhone simulator. I have tried moving all js and css files into BT_docs, but still does not work. What about the image files and the audio file (m4a)? Must everything associated with my HTML page go into the top level directory, BT_docs? Or, should I place the audio and image files in their respective BT folders? If so, do I reference those folders in the HTML, BT_sound/file.m4a? Also, like Andy stated, it is a pain to have to test locally one way and then rework the HTML to point to a different file structure for iOS - better if I can simply drag the one folder into XCode and voila. Perhaps this works now, somehow? Tips, advance, and/or condolences are appreciated ;-) Amy
