Colorpicker

Hi developers I need a color picker that could pick up one color in the same style as in Photoshop or similar (to pick up wide range of colors), and then been able to export that color from the "app" to another user or dataserver... I´m not a coder so that's far ahead of my knowledge to make a plugin for that...but some of you might have the time and knowledge...? There are some "free" color pickers at Github and so on if you are interested in building from existing work...

Chris Coffee posted sometime between a week to a month ago on this very subject. The info I took out of it, is that the Mac has a built in color utility located in your Applications/Utilities directory called 'Digital Color Meter'. It displays colors in several formats. I can't remember what the windows suggestion was... Sorry. Cheers! -- Smug

Hi Smug I think you refer to his post on instant eyedropper on mac.: http://www.lizhover.com/2009/04/instant-eyedropper-for-mac/ I miss an opportunity to integrate a "colorpicker" in an app ... What if some of you could make a plugin with just a color picker with the opportunity to export the color that the user has selected...

Oh, I misunderstood. I did not realize you were talking about a plugin for an app... My bad. Cheers! -- Smug
