Like someone said, The bug was found by a team of people who where on a mission to find bugs on behalf of google. They found a bug, reported it privately and Google fixed it. There's NO issue.

Hmm that is troubling for sure. I agree with Kennedy that this company didn't cause any harm, but there's no telling whether a malicious hacker might've stumbled across the same and has just kept quiet. Also makes you wonder whether any sensitive apps such as bank apps have been compromised at some point. We tend to overlook security issues with apps, but it's a real threat. Don't ever assume your code is secure.

I was wondering if BT Team can add an option to BT called "Encryption" so we can encrypt our apps' contents. What do you guys think?
