Also please make it possible to use decimals incase multiple values are the same. Maybe even a small bit of java or HTML 5 to make some arrows to drag the menu items into order and have the script order them with the numbers as usual. 2. When a user selects list view from the screens have it remember that for a little bit so every time we load the page it doesn't load the other view. Also maybe the ability to add an option to change how many are displayed, for example 50, 100, 500 , ALL. Make sure all is included! 3. When a user packages the application, save the file to the archives, so when the user reloads the screen it can still be downloaded instead of repackaging it and wasting a build. You Probably want to have it so there is a repackage button to the side. 4. Add Scringo into the control panel at the core properties with the app ID and an on and off switch so we don't have to implement it ourselves. That way we can turn if off whenever. Maybe an option on all screens just like the ads make a "show scringo" option. 5. Import strands of JSON and process them into the config data and screens, so that we don't have to manually create all of the screens. 6. Minify the JSON data while sending it to the application so data is conserved. This could help with bandwidth and because not all users have a fast connection. 7. Simple fields in the core properties that change the plist file in the app. For example a package name and maybe parameters icons. That way there is less to configure during the package and release. 8. Add an option to make a sound effect for left and right buttons. This would make it very easy to add sounds to buttons! Including back buttons. 9. Add all of the bt server settings that aren't implemented yet. For example marking for delete and purging sql databases. 10. Able to remove links on the control panel... You can only add links, you cannot remove the links. Maybe even links for each app call it local, and links for all apps call it global links. This can be for example a quick access to a home menu in an app. 11. Selection of a menu item in the application stays when you go back from the page you selected. Maybe when the user goes back to the page the selection will fade out like every other apple app. 12. Make it so big apps with lots of json data (even if offline) takes 3 or more seconds to even display the first screen. Maybe have the code load the first screen and load the others after but still allow the user to navigate. 13. Add a load screen option for the "first launch" Just make a bool nsuserdefault first time and boolForKey to make sure they aren't. Option to make a sound effect and animation along with the screen. 14. Remove the menu footer spacing unless there is an ad or if the user has set it differently from null. 15. Add the new exporting feature like the buzztouch control panel has. That way we can export! 16. Ability to import application projects from other self hosted panels or bt control panels. Maybe require the server to have the plugins that the zip package has. Also password protect it so it can't be just imported just as an optional security measure. 17. Default error reporting to true that way starters can know what's going on since they may not know how to turn it on, and veterans can simply turn if off. 18. Increase the timeout for login accounts, and make a setting for it so we can change the timeout length. Maybe also a per user, setting for admins. 19. All updates that go through self hosted servers should have a changelog and a dedicated changelog and download page. This would make it less confusing when tiny tweaks are released but not changing the version. 20. Updates for the self hosted panel are a little frustrating to update replacing files and so on. Possibly when an update is available the user can check the update, view the changelog, and click update. All good suggestions. You've put a lot of thought into making the development process be more efficient. I think the Scringo will be built-in soon, if its not already. To re-order lists, I use increments of 10 to help me re-adjust. Yet I feel your pain. :-) Question: Would you prefer seeing brand new capabilities or improvements to the existing capabilities? -- Niraj

Importing apps would be cool from the BT control panel to self hosted, I know a ton are holding back from self hosting because they don't want to re-do their apps again. Make error reporting default for yes, this would have solved my issues with my database crashing and debugging much easier. Specify a timeout length field, I time out of my control panel seems within 3 minutes of non use. Include a update change log for every update or small update, we had several small updates on 2.1.8 and I have no idea which "versions" of 2.1.8 I have installed, IE should be: 2.1.8.01, 2.1.8.02, etc. This was a HUGE pain in my arse when 2.1.8 was released and David kept releasing tiny fixes for it without updating the version number! (might have been avoided if we had a few members debug/text the control panel BEFORE release as there were some major flaws in 2.1.8 at initial release.) Those are my wish list items! Awesome thread! Yes, however it wont create the screens into the database, but yes no one can live without JSnppet keeper.

Definitely agree with #18 and #19. Although #19 should be pretty easy to do on your own. I was thinking of making a "plugin" to do #16, but that will be a while yet.
