Hi, Can someone explain how I can create a multiple choice app using the self hosted solution. Specifically, when I log into the self hosted bt server and try to select quiz question or look for a plug in, it does not appear to exist. Am I missing something. Please note, it is not clear in the 1.5 documentation...at least to me.\ I appreciate the help.

Hi Digira, The quiz plugin is not available yet for the self-hosted server. Hopefully we'll see that soon! So, if you want a v1.5 app with a quiz, you'll have to create it at buzztouch.com. Working on quiz apps currently and I found a basic site that you can tweak in HTML http://www.quizbox.com/builder/ ...just a basic one kinda like forms in google docs but with more control. If you have a MAC then another new app that just came out is called HYPE that allow key frames for HTML5. Hope that help until the plug in comes out :),

Hey CBreeze! LOVE ALASKA BTW! .....Unfortunately, No there is not a plugin for BTServer as of yet for the quiz portion. But my way around it is by the above links. I especially love the imac app http://tumultco.com/hype/. You can create a quiz with a simple wyswyg program with animations. Of course it is a Apple product and only will work with an iMac. Or .....if you are a super code genius (which I am not) you could hack ...but as far as my research the quiz 1.5 will NOT work for self hosted BT-Server.

I agree. Not disputing that you give content that is worth value. What I am disputing is that you post a message on this discussion about how you have solved the problem of a Quiz Plug-In ....a sort of. You are redirected to your site with NOT a bit of info...without any clue what this plug in or script will do. Fred, it seems that we are having more members take advantage of this free service. It is shady practice and I just want an upfront no BS HERE IS WHAT I GOT----> HERE WHAT WILL DO FOR YOU---->THIS IS HOW MUCH IT IS Be upfront about it. There are other members who give out more information...and yes they ask for donations for their hours of work. Yet, they ask for money upfront in the forum and explains what their service will do....They do not call out LIKE A NEWSPAPER BOY ON THE STREET WHO WANTS A....... (what ever widget) and then redirect you to a money grubbing site.....Just my two cents..

@Sheri - Thanks. :-) Question for you. Have you been able to embed hype-created html in the app or are you using a custom url? If I use custom url or if I put the url in on the html screen it works fine. If I try to embed in the BT_docs folder using html screen, all I get is a blank screen.

I had the same issue. I just go directly to custom url. Still loads slower than I like but I noticed that with more animations the slower the page. The app is looking great on all my devices. Just need to implement game center <via your tutorial of course found on this thread http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=DF3F52FC16CB87065EAFE91 > and either copy the whole app over or untangle the mess I created with code signing. GRR!

Here Is an update on the Hype situation. The blank screen error was because of what folder that is picked on xcode. I put together step-by-step documents with the screen shots.
