Menu List Buttons - please talk slow.

Hi, I'm pretty new to this, but I'm working my way through it quite well. The thing I'm really stuck on is buttons. Either - I create a homepage button list, but can't figure out how to make my buttons long. Or I've created a list menu for the home page, but still want them to appear as buttons. I have done quite a lot of searching through the forum and have found some documents, but I didn't understand them. I am hoping somone can help me figure this out in dumbed down tech speak. Any help would be appreciated.

The list menu is just that. A vertical list of menu items that can have a line or two of text, and also may have an icon on the left. It may be possible (never tried) to make that icon wide to give it a long button look. Not Sure. The button menu, by default, wants to use square buttons. FredT4 wrote up a how-to on his website (compiling a lot of info from the forums, etc) on how to use multiple buttons together to make the button seem to have a different shape. You could certainly use this method to make long buttons. Short answer, its not built in per-se, and will take a little work. Good luck, hope this helps.

Thanks - I was hoping for a simpler solution. Oh to be able to type in the dimensions of a button.

We're all waiting for that feature. As David @ Buzztouch likes to suggest, it's not that difficult, perhaps you could hack around the code a little. Ha!

Ahh yes - hack around the code a bit. I've been trying to do that. Me thinks it's not that easy though.
