What does LogCat show? According to this thread: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/13670374/android-span-exclusive-exclusive-spans-cannot-have-a-zero-length the problem is probably due to device-specific keyboards. Are you testing on a Samsung device by chance?

This sounds like it could be the common "Android Spinner Problem" Forum: http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=84D47AE9CF4CF181930C282 Sometimes, if the Android Spinner will not vanish when the page is loaded (locking up the page), it may be best to hide the spinner. What version of Android are you running your app on? Jake
