What happens to my BT App after it has reached the view limit on the free account ? Does my App stop working? Also, what happens after I reached my screen limit on the free account? BTW, I do know that I have the option to upgrade but I want to know the answer to the above questions.

Hi in New Jersey and London. a) @rob151 is correct. When the view limit is exceeded the buzztouch.com backend will not return the config data to the app when it's "refreshed." This is the data returned by the Data URL in the control panel (Core Settings). There are a few ways to deal with this if / when it happens. Upgrading is one way but not the only way. You could continue to use the control panel to make app changes, then move the config.txt data to a DropBox account or other web enabled server (like your website). This would involve setting the Data URL to the new location, then copying the data to that location each time you do an update. Great solution for some, not for everyone. b) Screen Count: @rob151 is correct, the control panel won't let you create new screens but you're OK to remove and replace screens. OR, you can add new screens to your app's config data manually after downloading the project.

I'm asking because I built an app using the BT free account and when I downloaded the code and open in Xcode simulator the App opens to the homepage of my App and stays frozen. And I only have 1751 views. It was working for awhile but now this is happening. I don't know why.

MrDavid, I'm already on the BT Server self hosting account. I was just trying to figure why when I was I was on the Free account my App froze when it got to the home screen. I can send you the Xcode output report if you provide me with your email address. Its too long to paste into this post. @MDG

@rhundle a. he's talking about the config.txt file, make the app look for config.txt thats not on the bt site ;) b. After downloading the project, in xcode, edit the config.txt file, and add screens with new JSON code. Do a search on the forum, you'll find a lot of information on this! David buzztouchmods.com
