BuzzWeekend Europe 2014

Hi all, I’ve got some really exciting news! I’m announcing ‘BuzzWeekend Europe 2014’, the big European gathering for Buzztouch users this September. It’s been months in the making, and I was hoping to get this message out long ago, but as some will know, I’ve been tangled up in some rather complicated adventures. Some may remember last year’s ‘BuzzDay Oxford’. This year, we’re elevating this to a new level. As the name suggest, the target audience is going to be Europe instead of the UK. However, anyone from anywhere can join us. As well as that, it’ll be across the weekend instead of just one day like last year. It's for everyone... whether its you're first day or fourth year... guest or member. This event is going to be hosted over two days in the famous University of Oxford. It’ll spread across the weekend and will be on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st September. A group of us will also have a small reception party on Friday 19th evening. This is for people who might arrive a little earlier although everyone is welcome, whether you’re arriving by plane a day early or just want to hang around with us guys for a bit. As we will be starting on Saturday morning, I recommend that anyone with flights should arrive on the Friday. The main day is going to be Saturday, where we’ll have talks, speeches, lectures etc. On the Sunday, we plan for this to be more of a hangout where people can work together, ask questions and well, hang out! We’ll split up over lunch so people can get back to their homes later in time for the evening. ‘BuzzWeekend Europe’ will take place at University College, the oldest college in Oxford and dates back 800 years. More address information will be released gradually over the next few weeks, so please don’t worry about anything. I understand that as this is a two day event, many people will want accommodation. The college will have available accommodation to offer (£55 - €70/night). However, again, this is not the time to be worrying about this. This can be sorted out nearer the time, but I can assure you that there is accommodation. I hope you warm to the news and please do let me know on your thoughts. Make sure to mark down the dates in your diary - 20th and 21st September 2014. I hope to see you all there! Thomas Boyd BuzzWeekend Europe 2014 organiser http://buzzweekend.annandaleapps.com

When answering "yes" to the question "do you need accommodation?"… this means that I made a reservation for the Bed & Breakfast option? Just to be sure… I am looking forward to next weekend! Thomas

Hi Guys myself and Kittsy have booked a four single bed room and looking for two more people, who might be looking for accommodation for the two nights or even just one night. We have two spare beds, in a hotel next to the train station and for two nights it will only cost you £48 and for one night £35. If you are looking and need a room, please contact either myself of Kittsy. Requirements: Funny, love a bit of banter, and no crazies, oh and welling to buy Kittsy a jug of beer as a pint won't do.

@Dragon007... I'm going to start an accommodation competition! If you want to stay within the bounds of the University (instead of a 15 minute walk to the station)... £55/night: bed and breakfast in Harry Potter's hall is all yours!

I'd like to start a virtual round of applause for Thomas Boyd for putting together a great weekend at Oxford. I met some old friends, made some new pals and learned a load of useful stuff. Many thanks to everyone who gave their time presenting to us and for David Book reaching out across the ocean to us. I hope everyone made it home in one piece! John
