iOS 1.5 SIGABRT issue - downloaded source code, tried to run sim, got SIGABRT error

Hello folks, Just wondering if anyone has had this issue... Download source code of app yesterday, fine, got it working on the emulator & on the iPhone. Went into buzztouch today, and changed 1 font colour in the quiz questions. Also renamed .JPG as .jpg in 3 photos on my hard drive. Downloaded source code now a few times today, and didn't edit it in any way in xcode. Just hit 'run' to see it in the simulator and each time I get an error. Thread 1: Program received signal: SIGABRT. And I can't get any further. I read a few things on this forum (redownload, change project name) - I did try both but no luck yet. Thanks hugely & happy post Christmas to all! :)

Hi @aussiehorseman, I'm not entirely sure what the error is, but I would try to do a Clean on your project, then Build again into the simulator, and see what happens. I don't believe you can just launch the simulator and then launch your app...it has to be built in Xcode, then sent to the Simulator where it launches. Mark

There are two other forum threads to see on the subject if you haven't already viewed them: http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=2EDB07D91134B4121C78C33 and http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=0F893CC96A6CCBB71040A18

Something similar happened to me about 30 minutes ago... a few times actually :P YOUR ISSUE IS the name/extension of the pictures that you changed (Probably the capitals vs. lowercase). I was updating a background picture in my project file, did something wrong and it couldn't properly find the file, indicated that it was missing and promptly crashed my app with a bad data exception signal :P You should change the pictures back to the original name/extension and see if that fixes it.

Thanks Parker, yes I had a look. David - yes I googled it & saw capitals/lowercase changes can cause problems. I cleaned the build, shut down the PC (had been on for 2 days!!!!!), took out the images with the .JPG, put back in ones that said .jpg, updated buzztouch with .jpg, found two images somehow corrupted images in xcode, replaced those, booted the whole thing up again and it worked fine. Thanks again & happy new year all!!
