big problem just discovered with dates in html

Haven't noticed this until now. In my html files, dates, such as October 5, come out in the app as links. And when you touch them you get an option to either create an event, show in calendar, or copy. This would be a good thing except that these screens appear in a screen titled with a year in the future, so October 5 in the text on screen represents, say, October 5 2020. But tapping on the link just brings up the calendar for October 5 2012, the current year and I don't want that. So is there any way to edit the link to get it to go to a specific year and if not, is there a way for the date to shop up as regular text in the html page, not as a hyperlink? Thanks.

In Advanced settings, make sure Detect Phone Number / Address links? is set to no. That will fix the issue.

Stupid question - just where in advanced setting is this setting. I can't find it on any of my screens.
