Almost all of my apps use Scringo and with it shutting down soon are there any alternatives? I can't code so if anyone is looking for work and can help me integrate some kind of chat room or rooms into my apps for payment lets me know... Thanks!

I just replaced Scringo in my app "Universal Orlando Tour Guide". Granted, you lose some of the Scringo functionality, like radar, etc, but for simply letting the users chat, this is a great option. I've probably used this in more of my apps than any other plugin or add on.

I agree. I just spent 2 months creating an app only to have apple tell me they will never approve it, so that sucks, but I can Reskin it to get approved. It was a virtual medical marijuana garden, where the plants grow in real time. Guess the official release will be a vegetable garden, as Apple says cannabis related apps are fine, unless it's in the games or entertainment category. :( Yeah, I love your php comments script... I use it all the time. A couple of simple text edits, upload to the server, and just point to it. Simple, functional, and extremely versatile. In the universal orlando app alone, I use it in 3 different ways, which all look unique to the end user. I use it for live chat, app feedback, and ride/attraction reviews.

Yup, I was keeping that little gem hidden for 2 years before posting it here. Thought I use Socialize's commenting and chat way more these days, both are great solutions. Bummer to hear about your rejection, reskin, retry, make some money. Good luck. mrDavid

Haha... I just went down there last week to take new pics and videos, and to update any menu price changes. Keep an eye out for new content appearing in the app soon via silent update. Gotta love the fact that the whole trip can be written off as a business expense. ;)

Im looking for someone to help integrate anything that might replace the chat rooms for Scringo in an app of mine. I have a large amount of people that chat within the chat rooms and with the service shutting down in a week or so I am kind of screwed... @Bytewizard - Sinch is mostly VoIP (perhaps more to it than I know though) and they use PubNub.com for their signal protocol (connect, disconnect, dial, ring, hangup, etc). DISCLAIMER: I know because I work for PubNub. And if there are any motivated BT plugin developers, I'd be happy to collaborate with you to create a PubNub BT Plugin. The most basic thing would be a chat plugin but there are so many things you could do with PubNub in a BT plugin. My limitation is I have never developed a plugin. I've looked into it but haven't ever invested the time to actually create one.
