How can we make our app attractive?? i mean how can we add awesome themes in background of app?? anyone have idea??

Search through the "Thank You/Announcements" forum here, and you should see some work from other BT developers that should give you some ideas.

Yeh, i have been trying to replicate the quality of his app background. I think the best way to go about it is to use photoshop and make sure that your try to keep one colour scheme. if you know what i mean?

What do you mean by 'in app' Do you mean the way that the app is set out?

@Andromodd- Hello! Making a good looking app is not so difficult. All you need is a lot of imagination and hard work. It took me about a month to create this app from imagining to the release. Actually i prepared two different apps one with 1.5 and the other with 2.0. made a lot of changes to both apps and finally decided to use the present version 2.0. What @jawdoss said is correct, i have made use of background image on each screen and also have used html docs screens and in some screens also the custom url screens in my apps. Other than that i have used nothing else. In short the app is entirely made out of the box using buzztouch.

The aforementioned app developer has used a tabbed layout and the main screen has a simple menu list. He has not used any theme in fact he has made use of background image in header section of the app. That can be done in bt.

Setting up a html doc screen or custom url screen is not as much difficult as you think. It can be done using the buzztouch itself. However in case of html docs you have to create your own html docs and in case of custom url you just need to point a particular website link in the bt.

@Sandeep How can we set header images? can u give me some idea? and thanks for info on html and custom url screens.

There is an option on bt control panel about setting background image in any view. In case of simple menu go to Screen Background Image and put the image file name you have created. This section also has the option to set that image on various areas of the screen like top, bottom, middle, etc.

@Sandeep here is one problem when i done as per video suggestion i found One error in 2nd step after adding lib. ScringoResources - Import this project into your eclipse workspace (File -> Import... -> Existing projects into workspace -> Browse) and add it as an Android Library Project used by your app (Right-click your Android App Project -> Properties -> Android -> under "Library" click Add... -> Select ScringoResources -> OK -> OK) When tried to import ScringoResources as per explained in that video but i found error in eclipse that there is nothing to import in this project?? :( Help me with it how can i import it?

@Andromodd I have not tried to implement the scriong sdk into any of my app yet. I saw the video in a hurry and dont know exactly how to fix the error you are getting. It would make sense if you post the above question in the aforementioned thread. Some one out there might help you in getting the error fixed.

yup i got it fixed. no problem but can you tel me bro what is this "scringo.app.id" from where i can get this ID? i need to place it with scringo resources.

First you need to get yourself registered on scringo website scringo.com. You will be asked to fill up some info about your email and all that stuff. You will then get your scringo id.

Ok actually i have not yet used his app. I will download it and check what other features he has. Will be back in few minutes.

He has used a splashscreen and then a tabbed layout. The first tab has a menu list screen which also hosts the scringo. The second tab has either html doc or might be a custom url to some chat service. The third and fourth tabs are custom url to his blog and forum. Where as in the last tab he has made some custom changes with coding. Well its out of my knowledge how he has made that happen to rate that app on google store. I had seen that app earlier and it was not so cool but the developer has made a lot of changes to make it a cool app. Amazing hard work.

@Sandeep one more thing brother i tried to set Header image as u said in main manu=>background image and given top middle. and also putted it to res/drawable in project too.but it shows nothing. :( when i set it in theme background image it showing behind my work but still no header image as i want on my main screen header Just like that user used as his header. Hope you understanding what i mean.

Which version bt are you using?

v2.0 and brother i mean i want header in place of Nav. Bar Title as that user used in main screen.

According to what i know this cannot be achieved in version 2.0. There is an option to set header image, header image layout and header image tap (which directs the users to other desired screen when they tap on the header image). If you want to set header image like that dev then 1.5 is an option for you not 2.0.

Thanks a lot brother for your effort i found how to set header image in v1.5. but one more thing i can't understand yet that how he has used that in main menu list when we click on it it brings us on new menu list?? Example that user used in his app when we click on 1st screen "start learning" it bring us on new menu list with header "Start learning" it's amazing how he did it?? have any idea?

I am not sure but i think he might have used a menu button screen or he might have added some custom code. Check using the menu button screen with a very wide image for icon something like 20 (height) x 160 (width) and tell me how it works.

yup that what i think before by the way m gonna try it. And brother how can we upload images in bt v1.5 there is no option for it.? i mean no files/media option in bt v1.5

No need to upload images on server just put the desired image in the project file itself. Put image files in assets---> BT_images folder of project files.

and than i have to set name what i have added in BT_Images folder in Header image in my app's Bt v1.5 control panel right brother?

yes thats correct. the names should be exact names and all in lower alphabetical case or else the images wont show in app.

@Sandeep i did all as per you suggest brother and i got the solution of that menu=> New menu list how can we do this. there is no any button required to choose as you said we need just new menu simple screen in that particular screen we wanna go with new list after tabed it. example if we want more than simply create more in main menu than go to action of that more we crated and than choose there new simple menu :)

@sandeep but bro still i have facing problem with that header image. i Think BT V1.5 is slower in updating than bt v2.0. and bro when i downloaded source code than puted header file named as "header" in assets/BT_Images folder and typed name header in both small and large device at Header Image in "Manu simple" but it showing nothing after compile. there is no header image is there. please help me in some proper way how can i set header image? and yup there is no option for setting our custom icons in tabed layout so how can we choose custom icons? or we have to choose their 3rd class default icons for screen tab??

Are yar kya bol rahe ho kuch samajh nahi aata. Sometimes i dont understand your english. Remove all those default icons and replace icons of your choice. Just remember to include their names in control panel.

I will try to remove those default icons. and bro I can't found splash screen in Bt 1.5. it seems no splash screen option in 1.5. aur maine sab sahi kiya tha yar all case lower the. I puted "header.png" in both panel and bt_image folder but fir v I can't see header why??
