@CSS one of the best shares, opens up a lot of possibilities. is this only for game conversions, have you deployed it already with a bt app? thanks Ed

Thank you, Niraj and CSS! Stuart speaks about how slow the emulator is for testing Android Apps...this fact is killing my progress with a client app as I write this. If I go to eBay to buy a device for testing without a contract, what would be the best device to buy for API 14, the target we set in Eclispe?

For the US-based clients, stick with the name brands. Craigslist is another choice. Be sure to meet seller at a public WiFi place to test the device. Make phone calls with their chip in it. Ask them to charge it before meeting up. Test WiFi. Test sounds and touch. I prefer meeting the person to see their character and their device. eBay is invisible.

Both Marmalade and http://Apportable.com are finding a niche in translating iOS games to Android. I have seen hints of Apportable embracing the UIKit conversions on their Twitter stream. No formal announcement yet. Most of BuzzTouch is based on UIKit. No silver bullet yet :-( Let us know how Marmalade works for you! -- Niraj
