Resolved - Self Hosted Error Message upon Update

Hi, I am trying to update my self-hosted server to 2.1.9 I am getting the following error: "Fatal error: Class 'User' not found in /home/content/43/9413543/html/index.php on line 8" after updating the config.php file and clicking where it says "AFTER DOING STEP 1 ABOVE, you need to click this link " in step 4. I've checked everything thoroughly so far so I missing something. I would be grateful for any ideas or how I can resolve this issue as my server is now down. John Now resolved see below and also https://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=DCF4080C167BC3945AD9272&fid=F20BFC687F9577D1949F487&sortColumn=FT.id&sortUpDown=DESC&currentPage=1 .

Hi Higgey, I think something went wrong in your config.php You should check this file!!! Are these filed in correctly: define("APP_DB_HOST" define("APP_DB_NAME" define("APP_DB_USER" define("APP_DB_PASS" define("APP_PHYSICAL_PATH" And the rest ofcourse.... After the installation script is done it asks you to overwrite some data in the config.php file. A common mistake is that some people select everything in the config.php file and then paste in the code (and thus also delete 'good' code). This is wrong because there is much more code in that file that should be overridden. Hope this helps. Best Regards, Danny

Resolved. Yes, Danny, that is exactly what I'd done. I uploaded the config.php file again and ran the installation process once more. Bingo, all is OK. I am most indebted to you, Danny. Thank you for taking the time to respond. Kind regards, John
