Not sure 'what' you're using, but try a different browser... that's always my first try. The only real difference between http and https (other than the obvious security stuff) is merely the port number... all of the other 'transactions' are pretty close to identical, with the caveat that the connection is 'secure'. In your current browser, is there a 'secure' confirmation? Usually this is an icon, a 'green' color, or some indicator that things are good (or not good)...? Otherwise, it is a bit odd, but try another browser just to be sure. I had to get my wife off of firefox and on to Safari to dependably view her work schedules online...
