Infographic: Where The Money Is!

Very interesting infographic from App Annie on where the money is in developing apps. Seems to correlate with anecdotal evidence from these discussions that Android users don't like to pay for apps! http://www.appannie.com/game-of-phones/?utm_source=InfographicEmail&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=AndroidLaunch6.12 PDF Version: https://www.box.com/s/c67dc32daf01a6784797 Mark

Wow it's not even close, I thought that maybe by now the stats would close in and be at least 10% difference. Not the case.

I like the sentence at the very bottom of the infographic, where it says the revenue data for Android does not include China (and others) since they do not monetize on that platform. Doesn't China have a fairly large population? I think I'd try to at least make a penny per app from them or something. :)

Yup, makes perfect sense. I agree with almost everything in this article too.... http://techcrunch.com/2012/07/08/8-ways-mobile-developers-can-make-the-most-money-on-their-apps/ Note: I also posted that URL on this new thread I started before seeing @GoNorthWest's thread (this one).
