Non tabbed layout - button menu home screen --> anybody who can explain how to get this ?

Wizzards of BT, who can help me ? No matter how hard I try, I can't get my app ( created with BT server 2.1.6 ) showing the non tabbed layout (tabbed works fine ). I want to have a button menu as homescreen. I configured that kind of screen , but I never see the tabs :( . I can change the backgroundcolour of every single piece, but I can't find a way to get my button menu as homescreen . What am I doing wrong ? Is there a step by step tutorial to do this ? I already did this in the 1.5 version ( waiting for upload :-) ), but I want to create it now for a server-version . Anybody who can help step by step ? Thanks in advance ! Yuri

Hey acod! Heres what you need to do. click on the app in your control panel . On the left hand side of the screen under application options click Layout/tabs. This should now bring you to layout properties. Now select Non-tabbed layout and then click select. This will allow you to select wich screen to choose as home screen. Remember to create a button screen first, so that it shows up as an option to select.

Done it, once again , and the result is the same as before : blue navigation bar, black screen . No button screen . When I change things ( as colour )in the top navigation bar of my menu buttons, it works, but that's it. Anything else stays black, even no text ( only the colour ) in the navigation bar . It is as if there is another screen opening above the Non-Tabbed Layout home screen . Would it help if I post the config data ? Yuri

You can control screens in two places. The layout properties or the individual screen itself, wich will overide any layout options

Hey uri. Why don't you create a dumby account for me to log into your buzztouch and create a simple app, just to see if we both get the same errors. By the way are you using eclipse or xcode!! My email address is [email protected].
