Black start up screen and is not refreshing

Hi guys My app was working fine on my Android last week for testing. However, I've made a few changes since and now just a black screen loads up. The app doesn't seem to be refreshing anymore either (it used to ask me if I wanted to update pretty much everytime I changed anything in my control panel). Now it's not asking, and I can't see anything. Seems to work OK in AVD - any ideas please? (could it be something to do with a splash screen I've implemented? perhaps wrongly)

sounds like your device isn't playing nicely with the internet?

And splash screens are a reported issue, (I have never had the problem though). If you think it is that, it needs to be cmpletely removed from he build.

probably a really silly question, but how can I delete a screen? I've tried to remove it as I think it's that, but can't see how to do it.

It isn't obvious. When viewing your screens you need to be in 'list mode', then you will see more options and you can delete from there.

Hi I've now tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. It loads up initially, then asks me whether I want to update the app, as there is an udpate available. I click yes, the screen goes black, a small loading circle shows and then stops, followed by a 'Unfortunately, (app name) has stopped'. Any ideas please? This is read for being published, so quite annoying this problem has now occured...

If you load it from scratch and it asks if you want to update, does it work if you say no? The possibility that occurred to me is if perhaps you have installed a new plug-in, but that plug-in has not been updated by loading into Eclipse? It might explain the symptoms if one of your newer screens references the plug-in and the plug-in isn't in the build.

Thank you for continuing to try and help AlanMac. It does work if I say no to the update, but it doesn't update... I havbe installed new Plugins to my Control Panel but not to the app. Thy onle new one I tried was the Splash Screen and I have since deleted that as I thought that might have been the problem. So I think that's shouldn't be the problem?
