Pulling the Trigger

Ok - I'm getting ready to signup and pay my $ to use the product. Our app is fairly simple but I think we're going to need a little help. How difficult is it to recruit some free or paid help in the area of helping us with push notifications. Our app will be free to our free subscribers. I'm sure I won;t have any problem deploying the buzztouch server on one of the linux boxes in the data center where we host but we may need some development help or at least a sounding board for development ideas. any takers? thanks in advance. Jeff

PULL THAT TRIGGER!!!! There is no place on the net where you can get more help than this forum. The folks here helped me go from absolutely no experience building apps to two published apps within 6 months. One app is paid. Welcome and jump in with both feet! Dave

Here's the direct link: https://www.buzztouch.com/BT-server/BT-server-3.0.0.zip Hit your account name at the top of the screen, then Self Hosted Software, and it'll be on the right-hand side. Mark

J3 -- I can hand-carry that Snickers bar to Mark as I will be meeting him next weekend at the San Diego Buzzday meetup. :-)

having a real problem folks - I install the hosting code as shown - everything goes fine until I try to login - tells me login failed I assume: /* buzztouch.com User Email Address, Password */ define("APP_BT_ACCOUNT_USEREMAIL", "[email protected]"); define("APP_BT_ACCOUNT_USERPASS", "xxxxx"); I assume I should use the same email address and password that I use to access the website here? at least that's what I have set in the config.php file snippet above. when I enter my email address to reset password it tells me my email address is not found ???

by the way the other thing I noticed in the setup program is that I have a '+' (plus sign) in the database password and it stores the password in the code for config.php as a 'blank' - someone may want to correct that thanks in advance.

No your not. I have done at least three installs and two upgrades and I still goof up something along the way. :-)
