Email-able forms from within the app

I have a question for the pro's out there! I am in the midst of making an app for a hair salon. One of the features I'd like to incorporate is the ability to have the user of the app make an appointment from within the app itself. It would be similar to an email screen, but there would be fields for Date, Time, Name of Stylist, Type of Service Requested, etc. Those fields would be filled out be the user and that form would be sent to an email address that I specified within the app. I believe that it would be a simple html form, but not knowing ANY programming, I have no idea where to start. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!

Use Wufoo.com to create the online form & also adjust settings on Wufoo to email form to pre-designated email address & then incorporate the form into Buzztouch using custom URL/webpage page :)

I appreciate the quick response Steve, thanks!! I was wondering if there was a free way to do this...the website you recommended will only be free for the first 100 people who use it. Is there another way to do it that is completely free? Thanks again!!

The free version gives 100 form submissions per month, if you need more than that then can either pay for a bigger plan or simpler still, knock up a quick Wordpress site, add a free contact form plugin & that will also email unlimited forms to desired email address

I'm sorry for asking so many questions! Am am very appreciative that you have helped me so far and so quickly! Do I have to host a Wordpress site? Is that what you meant about knocking one up? Thanks again!!!

Dkeller - coincidently I have been down your track already gunning for the same outcomes - in the last 24 hours I have come across something that coud be helpful for your purposes - I downloaded an iphone app for Posterous.com - the app and the site are quite impressive - look it over - its free and no strings as with buzz touch - I am tinkering with the Posterous format to harmonise with BT and my own app development projects. I am a newbie too. So Good luck to you.

If you don't want to mess around with word-press there are plenty of free php contact forms that can be adapted to send your info to any predefined email addy. And if you wanted to get real pro about it there are plenty of FREE php/mysql contact forms as well. Easily add to your app using >> custom URL/webpage page << Either you or your client will need to host the solution as pointed out by Steve. Cheers Ron
