We have temporarily turned off the Send Private Message in each of our control panels. We did this after several members of our community reported receiving bogus SPAM messages from an unknown user. The Private Message process sends email to you from "us" so your email address is not exposed. This means that if you received one of these spam messages your email address was not made available to the person wasting our time this morning. This has happened before and we should have the Send Private Message option back-on after figuring out what account is behind this.

One thing I'll note. There's a spelling mistake when you do try to message someone. Workign should be Working

Was private messaging ever turnt back on? My buzz touch panel always shows 0 despite I am receiving messages. The only way I know is through the email I receive. So I always have to do to the email and click on 'reply to this message here instead' option. Just curious. Thanks

If somebody uses this screen, you should see a number in your Account > Messages link (on the left). If not, something's wrong and we'll need to look into it.

Mine always shows 0. Hasn't always been that way. I've had nothing in 'received' for 3 week despite receiving messages through email. If I look in 'sent' I can see my replies.

@Bonzo: Good to know. We'll look into it and see what we can come up with :-)

My account tells me I have messages, but I only receive emails on ones I have replied to. I don't get an alert when someone sends a brand new message thread.
