Help a newcomer!

Hello everybody, new to the forum and to the programming stuff :-) I tried to build an application following the tutorials provided on the site, I think I got it all, but when iI run the simulator in Xcode I got this message :"There was a problem parsing some configuration data. Please make sure that it is well-formed". Is there anybody that can help me solve this issue? I do not know where to start from... Thanx in advance for your help! Rosario

Welcome to BT buddy. The adventure begins. Config data in the control panel, you know where to find it? Top rightish when you are looking at your app. Grab that data and paste it into json lint website, check for errors. All good there?

So this is the first app you have downloaded and tried to run, yes? Does the output console in Xcode say anything? Have you pulled the most recent config data from control panel and dropped it into Xcode? Clean and build in Xcode as well?

Don't use apostrophe in any of your Screen Nicknames or in name of any other field. -- Niraj

In the BT config folder within project directory in Xcode you'll see a config.txt file. Copy and paste your config data from control panel, do a clean and build and see what happens.

Stick with it. Good man. Start with a simple app, one or two screens, get it running then see how the CP changes affect the app. Post back here if you need anything.

Dear fellow programmers...to be...I am trying to follow all your reccomandations but I keep on ...failing in delivering a simple but working app...At this point I have a doubt...my aim is to create an app starting from the simple plugins that the site offers integrated with pdf and word documents...am I right in supposing that I have just to...assemble it all without writing a single line of code?

You are wright! No code would be necessary only some steps in xcode to publish your app. Good luck!
