non-public API usage ...preventing validation on upload to store

Anyone getting the following issues on a recent build that you trying to upload to the store? 1. Your app contains non-public API usage. Please review the errors, correct them, and resubmit your application. 2. Apps are not permitted to access the UDID and must not use the uniqueIdentifier method of UIDevice. Please update your apps and servers to associate users with the Vendor or Advertising identifiers introduced in iOS 6. It is thus failing validation and not uploading. Any thoughts? €

Found another thread...which indicates it may be old Socialize plugin..investigating. How do i make sure the project does not reference an old sdk once the new one is placed?

Easiest way to be sure is delete the current external sdks and replace with the new. Ad networks have made recent updates to there sdk as well

I am getting that error too. Did you figure out what is causing it?

frustratingly..no i didn't...and since that app had a chinese menu of sdks in it. i decided to rebuild the app form scratch..and hopefully isolate the issue that way. Havent gotten around to that rebuilding yet though. let me know what sdks you have in there...and maybe we can see if there is overlap. I think mine had: socialize, flurry, mopub (which i think may have been connected to the culprit, with the other inbuilt network sdks), admob, €

maybe take scringo sdk out if it's in there? I'm a bit at a loss. I think you may be able to also request an apple reviewer call you and have them identify exactly what the issue is or some better guidance at least as to what the offending item is. De let us know what u uncover.

The error about the app accessing the UDID could probably be resolved by just commenting out the section of code called "//save device info" in "_____AppDelegate.m" I'm trying that now.

It didn't appear to have a problem in the simulator, I'll try it on my iPad tomorrow if I have time.

I don't have the scringo SDK either. I built a very basic info app. I manage 2 other apps, one of them I made using buzztouch, and I've never seen this error.

hmm. I want to say that the scringo sdk comes packaged into the app by default. I recall something about that a few mths back. I'd check your resources package just to be sure. Otherwise I'm pretty stumped on what is causing that. hopefully someone else will chime in with a resolve.

I am now getting this error.......did anyone find a resolution to this ? * UPDATE * - I've fixed this. My issue was that i use revmob in my apps for advertising. The framework was out of date. Deleted the framework and downloaded their latest and added to project. Flew past validation with apple after that. I recommend you download the latest frameworks for any or your SDK add ons THanks
