Tracking 'clicks' on a map or list

I'm wondering if there's a way to keep track of things that happen inside the app when users are, um, using it? Basically if I have a store that is listed in my dbase and it's a clickable point on my map, or an entry on a list view, I want to be able to say to the shopkeeper "Hey, 23 people have looked at your store this week!". Can I do that?
